WARNING : The sealing wax is flammable and stick to the skin, which can cause severe burns. Be cautious when handling the wax melted and hot and especially sure to keep young children away from these manipulations.

Instructions to make of wax seals.

Please do not send letters sealed by mail. The Post Offices use automatic sorting machines which can damage your seal if it is apparent on the envelope. If you want to send a letter sealed, it is appropriate to insert it in a padded envelope.
It is prudent to put into practice the following procedures, once or twice on a trial basis, on pieces of paper, before sealing an object or an important size.

1. Breaking sealing wax into small pieces, placing the stick in a paper bag or plastic and break with a hammer.

2. Melt the wax in a small container with a spirit lamp, a candle or a flame. Melt only a small amount and do not boil the wax (it might ignite).

3. When the wax is pasty, but not boiling, add the desired quantity on paper (the amount of wax must be paid with a diameter slightly greater than the diameter of the seal to be applied. Let the wax cool for a few seconds. Wax A slightly cooled gives a seal with the terrain, while a liquid wax seal will become thinner and thicker.

4. Putting the seal in wax in a firm and enforced. Let seal in wax for a few seconds only. This is the temperature difference between the hot wax and cold seal that prevents the seal from pasting the wax. If you have problems with the seal sticking to the wax or where you want to take a large number of stamps, set the seal on ice cube or cold water to cool the surface. Dry the seal with a rag before making the next stamp.

5. If the wax is still embedded in the seal, dipping in alcohol burning. This dissolves the wax. Do not attempt to remove the wax with a metal object or try to melt the wax embedded. This will damage the seal.

Usage of the wick in wax
You should be able to make 10-14 stamps with a stick stamps of our wax candle wick.

1. Light the fuse and hold the stick at an angle of about -20 ° (turned down).
2. Hold the stick directly on the area where you wish to make your seal, and thus allow the hot wax and liquid dripping onto the desired location.
3. When the amount of wax is filed correctly apply the seal and remove a few seconds vertically.

Notes on the wick in wax: This method of using wax to wick is convenient for carrying out one or two stamps. You can use this presentation wax to seal easily on the move. This wax is available in a wide assortment of beautiful colours. However, this method is not easy to achieve multiple stamps in a relatively short time.

Pistol wax
You should be able to make 6 to 8 seals with a stick wax for small pistol.

1. Insert your wax stick wax in the leads provided for this purpose at the rear of the small pistol wax. Wait a second and stick wax to allow the first baton to be used fully.
2. Porter pistol to temperature. Replace the gun on a piece of aluminium foil in order to allow all intemperate casting wax out of your work area.
3. Make some tests in order to give an idea of the amount of wax that you want to use with your seal. Generally, two bearings on the trigger will be a seal of good quality.
4. Wait thirty seconds before realizing a new seal. Then from experience, you can find a good pace to achieve your successive seals.
5. Apply your seal in wax and remove vertically.

Note the spray wax applied: This method of application of the sealing wax is useful for small, medium and large series. The pistol wax is very economical to use. To change the colour of a glue gun, use a neutral colour (wax cleaning), which expels a colour before using a new colour.
